Where are the exhibition halls and their opening hours?

(A) Location of Venue: Nanhai Gallery and Nanhai Open-Air Gallery are located on No.47, Nanhai Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City. 　　　　　　Nanhai Gallery’s Siaotiantan Exhibition Hall is at No.43, Nanhai Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City.

(B) Opening Hours: 1. Nanhai Gallery: Except Monday and the period for arrangement between two exhibitions, it is opened from 9:00AM to 5:00PM every day. (If it is closed on special circumstances, an announcement will be made) 2. Nanhai Gallery’s Siaotiantan Exhibition Hall: Except Monday and the period for arrangement between two exhibitions, it is open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM every day. (If it is closed due to special circumstances, an announcement will be made) 3. Nanhai Open-Air Gallery: It is open all day.

How can I apply for an exhibition event in your Center?

For exhibitions in Nanhai Gallery and Nanhai Open-Air Gallery, the period for application is from June 1 to August 31 every year. About application for use of venue, please go to our Center to ask for an application form or our website’s “Convenience for People” section to download application information and a form. Then, fill in your detailed information in the form and then make an application within the specified period.

Can I purchase the publications of your Center?

Our Center is a non-profit institute. All kinds of exhibition events and publications we produce are for publicizing art education. Their artists and authors cannot proceed with buying and selling their work.

How can I borrow the exhibited work and collections from your Center?

Our Center can only lend collections to Government departments, schools and cultural institutes recognized by the Government. These collections can only be permitted for non-profit exhibitions.

If you would like to borrow collections from our Center, please contact us with official documents one month in advance. Our Center’s agreement is needed. Also, insurance should be taken out. However, poor-condition or fragile collections cannot be lent out.
