Events for Study and Learning

How can I get the information about advertising for students joining Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme organized by your Center?

Our Center manages tasks of announcement of advertising for students and enrollment for Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme in January and July each year. If you would like to take part in this programme, please go to “Information for Events” section in our Center’s website to search for information about this programme, make a contact by dialing (02)23110574 (ext. 110), or make an inquiry at the service desk of Nanhai Theater.

Who are suitable for joining Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme? How much is the enrollment fee? What documentation should I bring with me?

(A) Students for Enrollment: Taiwanese or foreigners over 16 years old

(B) Tuition fee: NT$3,600 for sketch (including sketch by using pastels) class, oil painting class, water colour Class B, and advanced class for Western painting; NT$2,400 for other classes.

(C) Please bring your ID card (household identification book) or passport and two one-inch photographs with you when wishing to enroll.

How can I enroll as a student for Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme?

How to Enroll:
((A) All should make their enrollment via internet. The website is as follows -- http://ed.arte.gov.tw/study/. Those who don’t know how to operate computers can ask at the service desk of our Center for help during opening hours.

(B) If the number of people who proceed with their enrolment via internet is less than 24, these people can directly become students on the programme. If the number is more than 24, people who make earlier enrollment can have priority to be students, but others are put on the waiting list.

Can I ask another person to make enrolment of Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme for me?

About enrollment of our programme, if you cannot come by yourself, you can entrust another person to proceed for you. The person who you entrust should also bring his or her own ID card and your ID card, two one-inch photos, and fee of enrollment. If there’s lack of any of these, the case will not be accepted.

How long does Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme last? Where do I attend this programme?

(A) The programme each session lasts 18 weeks. You attend it once every week.

(B)Venue for the programme: Study and Learning Classroom on the second floor of our Center’s Nanhai Theater (No.47, Nanhai Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City)

After enrollment on the Arts Education Promotion Study and Learning Programme, can I withdraw from it or not?

Our Center’s Study and Learning Programme has only limited number of students. It is not easy to succeed in enrollment. If a student suddenly decides not to continue, it will certainly cause some problem on number of participants and on other’s rights and benefits. Before you enroll, we suggest you make a careful consideration. Therefore, once an enrollment is made, our Center won’t accept the application of refund fee, transfer to others, or putting off.

Does your Center have other study and learning events besides the Study and Learning Programme?

In addition to coordinating with theme exhibitions to organize study and learning events, our Center also organizes study and learning camps for teachers and children each year according to circumstances. The dates for these camps are not fixed.
