2008年全國學生圖畫書創作獎原畫特展

本館為啟發並培養青年學子美感與創意,本(97)年度持續辦理「全國學生圖畫書創作獎」徵選活動,作品徵選原創性圖畫書以適合3至12歲兒童閱讀為主,本次活動學生創作題材更加豐富,完成度普遍提高,雖然在兒童文學造詣上稍嫌薄弱,但每位作者由構想到作品完成,創作過程中,除了要動腦、動手描繪、書寫之外,更需要有計劃的能力,和在漫長的製作過程中,堅持的毅力,若屬共同創作,更需要討論協調的能力。
圖畫書創作徵選,除了鼓勵學生嘗試創作,藉以發掘他們潛藏的創造力之外,對所有參與製作者,其實都具有多方向的教育意義。不論最後是否能夠得獎,能夠完成一件圖畫書作品,尤其又能夠入選,就應得到家長、老師或自己的肯定,本館為獎勵這些青年學子,將發表入選獎以上作品,因為在作品中包含著創作者花費的精神、體力、創意和完成它的毅力。值得留下來作為學習過程中的珍貴紀念,並據以再向前努力。

To inspire and cultivate young people's aesthetics and creation, National Taiwan Arts Education Center (NTAEC) in 2008 continues organizing the selection activity for "The Awards of Creative Graphic Book for Nationwide Students." Original graphic books suitable for children aged from 3 to 12 are the main focus for the selection. This time, student's creative subjects are more abundant. The level of completeness is generally increasing. Although capacity of children's literature is rather poor, every author proceeds with the creative process from forming ideas to completing work. All authors command planning capacity besides using their brains and hands for painting and writing as well as needing determination in the slow and long making process. There are also many co-created works which authors need to be involved with capacity of discussion and negotiation.
In addition to encouraging students to give a try for creation to discover their potential ability, the selection of graphic books can also offer diverse educational meanings to all participants. No matter whether they can get prizes or not, they should have much praise and recognition of parents, teachers and themselves as long as one can complete a piece of graphic book and one's work is selected. To encourage students' creativity, NTAEC will publish the result of selected pieces of work. Because every work is involved with every author's ideas, spirit, physical vigour, creativity and patience, it is worthwhile becoming a precious keepsake for learning process and also further progressive use in the future.
