![]() "Stone-wall house" is a scene that could be often seen in the earlier period in Taiwan. Surrounded by walls, every household's building had the structure of courtyard with houses on three or four sides. Such kinds of building carried loads of life encounters for people. This work uses Taiwan's earlier life as performing material. Through a long-take view, the viewer can see how bustling with activities the present society is and how simple and honest life was in the past. With just several milk cans and a string of rubber bands, children can have great fun. On the day after a baby was born for a month, red eggs were made for neighbours to make celebration. Inside Stone-Wall House helps us re-think affections among people and between mankind and the universe as well as re-experience respect towards nature and joy towards new life! |
