To encourage young people to create art and to cultivate art talent, the Bank of Taiwan organizes a national painting competition to which artists aged between 20-40 years old from all over the nation are eligible to submit their works. To find promising emerging artists, there is no specific theme for this year’s competition. (Media, however, are limited to oil paintings, watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, or print paintings.) Every winning piece makes its creator proud.
