同類單位的大家一起休息稱為公休，而其中公休的「公」為大眾、群體之意。此次展覽將國立嘉義大學視覺藝術學系本屆大四參展同學定為「週五公休」的範疇單位，在一周七天的時間運行下窺探此公休日裡人們不為人知的私面貌。
People who belong to the same type of units taking a break together is called a public holiday. The word “public” means the public or groups. The senior students in the Department of Visual Arts of National Chiayi University who participate in this exhibition have been assigned to the “Friday Day Off” unit. Let’s take a peek at the hidden sides of people on this public holiday during the 7-day week.
