This exhibition, advocated by Chen Ming-Hsien, the Chairman and Advisor of the association, promotes the concept of “Modern Chinese Painting.” Its aim is to inherit the essence of traditional Chinese painting, including brushwork, aesthetic conception, artistic spirit, as well as modernism. Highly recognized and praised by authorities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the exhibition displays outstanding works by members of the painting association and invites distinguished artists from outside the association to participate, presenting the ideals of modern Chinese painting and its academic research value.
