Nanhai Creative Island

"Nanhai Creative Island, a digital base of children's art" is a parent-child space that combines digital interaction, artistic creation, and fairy tales. The natural elements of the South Nanhai Park are taken as the theme for the creation of a whimsical world like Harry Potter’s Platform 9 ¾. This theme Island offers rich dynamic ambience and digital interactive experiences, embracing parents and children here for joint creativity and exciting interactions. In particular, the tree house block makes an ideal place for parents’ story-telling to their children while cultivating their relationship. Overall, a whole array of unique artistic activities here is awaiting visitors as they explore this amazing fairy tale world.

Lipahak! Lipahak Forest

“Lipahak”, a word taken from the Amis tribe, means "happiness". A continuation of the elements of digital interaction, art work, and fairy tales as demonstrated in the “Creative Island”, the "Lipahak Forest" is further equipped with AR augmented reality technology and artistic appreciation features to demonstrate the colorful artistic appearance of the forest. "Lipahak Forest" is designed to provide visiting parents and children, and teachers and students with two different interactive experiences - static and dynamic. In "Gate of Art", there are dozens of interactive games for vigorous play and laughter sharing, whereas in "M.E. Story", a quiet and peaceful area is offered for enjoyable story-reading and story-telling.

Interactive guided tour of Nanhai Theater

Different from ordinary guiding mechanism, this interactive guide combines the exterior appearance of the Nanhai Theatre and the permanent exhibition model of the internal stage, so that visitors may appreciate the panorama of the Nanhai Theatre while experiencing the interactive guided tour.

The tour-guiding model was manually created by artist Li Lung-Chuan. Inside the guiding model, visitors may surprisingly find small figures and animals which were ceramic pieces created by artist Hsu, Yen-Hao to enhance the lively and vivid ambience offered by the mechanism model during the guided tour.

Through the interactive guiding mechanism, visitors may better appreciate Nanhai Theater, from the architecture of Nanhai Theater and the stage introduction, to the significance of Taiwan's drama development. In addition, there are interactive games on theater etiquette. Can't wait to experience interactive touring? It’s there waiting for you to try.

Kuzkuz! Kuzkuz Lake

“Kuzkuz”, a word taken from Bunun tribe, means "exploration". A continuation of the elements of digital interaction, art work, and fairy tales as demonstrated in “Creative Island” and "Lipahak Forest", the "Kuzkuz Lake discovery base for digital arts", is further designed to offer a "hands-on art" operational experience for participants to express their diverse artistic connotation of "co-creation", "co-play" and "co-appreciation". "Kuzkuz Lake" is designed to provide visiting parents and children, and teachers and students with two different artistic experiences – virtual and real. In " Art Journey", an interactive game involving hands-on creation, artistic appreciation, and speed reaction is available; in "Art Education in Dimension", an overview of the history of National Taiwan Art Education Center is the theme; and in "Green Time", hands-on art making is encouraged.
