Just as what Laotsu said, “Ultimate virtue is like water,” Confucius said, “The wise enjoy water,” and Buddha said, “Charitable heart is like water.” As can be found, water is considered as the very essence of all, and it can nurture and grow all the things in the universe, and specific landscape of life can vary with water as scenery of life flows with water incessantly. Besides, it has also interpreted life construed from water, and so it transforms unpredictably in everlasting term. For the solo exhibition, it bases on the theme of life upon water to express the concern for humanistic life. Even though what is bygone be bygone, there will simply be carefree leisure and mindset as “walk by the dead-end of water, and sit when cloud rises “ if one can always keep in mind the living source of water and humility of remembering the source origin of water drinking. The exhibition is titled as “Flowing - Fading” — considered as the exact description for the every changing and eternally lasting content of water.
