Feng-Mei Shen, Leon Shen, Yu-Lin Huang, and Lai Tsai are members of Datong Calligraphy Society. All of them joined the society because they originally brought their children to learn calligraphy. Interestingly, later their children stopped when they started their heavy academic life during junior high school days. But these four adults decided to devote themselves to learning art of calligraphy. Under the encouragement and supervision of Yao-Ming Wang, since 2003, their pieces of calligraphic works have been exhibited in Sansia History Museum, Luzhou Arts Center and National Taiwan Arts Education Center. Through their learning from each other and visitors’ advices, it is hoped that their calligraphy can be further improved. All calligraphy lovers and experts are very welcome to come to see and, if possible, offer them some helpful advice and encouragement.
