The 2015 Exhibition of Children’s Ink Painting in Taiwan

In order to promote the art of native traditional painting, and encourage our children to take an interest in and get to know traditional Chinese ink paintings, the Contemporary Chinese Painting Association, Fu-Li Cultural and Art Foundation, and National Taiwan Arts Education Centre have co-organized Children’s Ink Painting Competition in Taiwan annually since 2008 in the hope to achieve the goal of “Laying Equal Importance to the Five Disciplines while Making Art A Part of Daily Life” for children’s education.
Focus:The competition requires the child participants to create a painting at the scene in the hope of inspiring their creativity, aesthetic sense of space and artistic cultivation. Furthermore, it provides them a chance to experience the essence of Chinese ink painting and to inherit such folk art.
