One way for children to express themselves is through drawing, which reflects what they see, hear, and think. Meanwhile, it also allows children who are not good at words to express their thoughts through colors, lines, shapes and other elements on the canvas. The development of children’s mental age varies with their innate potential, and through children's drawings, we can understand and evaluate their inner thoughts so as to duly cultivate their motivation to learn.
In addition to ordinary children, children with ASD and artists with physical or mental disabilities who seem to live in an imaginary land have a different world of perception. Although they have never been taught by an academy or trained professionally, their works are unique in their own way, showing strong characteristics of self-motivation and creativity.
This exhibition is in line with the two main axes of the above-mentioned concept - children's painting and original art - in order to show their nature of being footless and fancy-free, and yet full of variations, namely the original artistic instinct to "paint what they feel, not what they see".
