Bodhi Pictorial Language and Buddhist Painting Exhibition

"Reading books is for fostering the spirit, painting is for fostering the mind." So reading and painting are the best medicine for soul and aesthetics. Buddhist paintings are used to interpret religious doctrines and spread Buddha's spirit of humanitarian love. They can thus function as practicing Buddhist rules for self-discipline (jiei), concentration (ding) and wisdom (huei) without using any language.
Religion is an important force to stabilize society. Lungshan Temple, Wanhua, has widely spread Buddha of Mercy's spirit of self-awareness and altruism and also sets up a Culture Plaza in which culture, art and education are employed to benefit the public.
Wisdom comes from learning. The old saying tells us: "If three of walk together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher." Life is the path of learning and practicing moral teaching. In Culture Plaza, Lungshan Temple, charitable courses of Buddhist paintings are provided without charge. On these courses, you can find good friends. Also, here is a world for soul and mind. Joyful learning can be shared with the public.
