Initiated by a group of young enthusiasts who have loved Kunqu since their college days, the ensemble was founded out of a shared concern for Kunqu’s long history and the challenges of rooting it locally. They hope to continue promoting and preserving Kunqu, through exchange and mutual learning on the stage. This performance features a selection of classic excerpts from traditional Kunqu plays. Kung lovers are warmly invited to enjoy the show and exchange ideas.
