"Taipei Harmonica United Concert" regularly takes place twice every year. At first, the concert's purpose was to help students give public performances and let these earnest harmonica learners shine on the stage. Different schools, different players of various ages and different performing styles were united and brought together in the same venue and at the same time so that everyone could learn and appreciate from each other's talent.
"Taipei Harmonica United Concert" was originally only for learners' public performances. Gradually, it has becomes a window for the public to know the musical instrument, the harmonica. Not only can people learn about this kind of instrument, but also they can appreciate various performing styles. It is hoped that through these music concerts, the art, nature and diversity of harmonica music can be promoted so that the public's understanding towards harmonica can be further improved. Also, it is expected that through enhancing the public's cultivation for this music, the harmonica will be able to become the music instrument for everyone. Every "Taipei Harmonica United Concert" has thus become a music lesson for citizens.
