Merry Wives of Windsor is a comedy play contained with irony and humour. The play was adapted from the work by Shakespeare, and it says about a greedy and lascivious antique connoisseur Falstaff who fancied two women with husbands Lady Fu Lu and Lady Mu Cun, and he send them identical love letters. He thought that he could have his scheme realized from either one spreading out his love intent; nonetheless, the two ladies discovered that they received the same letter, and had secretly planned against him as they found the act of Falstaff outrageous who believed that women could be so naively innocent. Thus, the two ladies set up a group of noble ladies in response as retaliation toFalstaff. In the beginning, Falstaff though the two ladies had acted upon the love from him, only sometime later, a series of comic and interesting shows of schemes playing fool on him are being staged one by one.
