To offer an international performing platform to young vocalists and introduce and promote classical music and opera to beginners and music lovers in Taiwan, the first event of Asia-Pacific Youth Opera Studio, gathering Taiwanese and American professional singers to perform the night of moving select opera songs will be held in 2009. The repertoire includes Bizet’s Carmen, Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, Puccini’s La Boheme, Verdi’s Rigoletto, etc.
