The Lute-gong Jing Tune Group has voluntarily promoted Peking opera songs for over two decades, including their long-time devotion to neighboring communities, consoling the old. They take publicizing Chinese traditional culture, promoting Taiwanese cultural artwork, and guiding the society to a high point as their objective. With traditional musical instruments and songs and dancing performance, the stories with their teachings of loyalty, dutifulness, morality and justice can have a lasting effect. We specially invite a lute master from Beijing, Wen-Jiang Wu, to join the show. There are also the first-class drum master Mei-Hua Fang acting as a supervisor, Lu-Jia Zhao playing an erhu fiddle for the concerto, and group members going on the stage for singing opera arias (without makeup and acting) or singing with acting by turns. The content is going to be splendid.
Focus：The repertoire includes: singing arias without acting — ‘A Chain of Dragon Pearls’ (suo wu long) and ‘Injustice of Dou E’ (dao e long); acting performances — ‘Spring of the Jade Hall’ (yu tang chun), ‘Hong Yang Cave’ (hong yang dong), and ‘The White-Snake Lady Tours along the Lake’ (bai niang zi you hu).
