Composed of a suite of folk songs and two pieces of folk songs with relaxing rhythms, the concert starts from a quadruplet with mixed vocal in mid-summer afternoon. Next, Dr Xie Shi-Yun plays violin with her superb skill to highlight the theme of the concert. Then, two pieces of English songs are sung – which ends the first half of the concert. In the second half, a string orchestra performs six carefully-selected pieces of foreign music. Next, two pieces of Japanese songs are sung by the choir. Then, three pieces of familiar Taiwanese songs follows. The whole concert presents various wonderful music and songs which can excite our ancestors’ love towards the land and also exotic feelings at the same time.
Focus：In the concert, through repertoire with diverse styles, dynamic stage performance and multi-media image design, it is hoped that through music, seeds of joy and happiness will be able to be spread and grow with time.
