Emperor Xuan-zong in Tang Dynasty has a favorite concubine called Yang Yu-Huan. One time, she and Emperor promise each other to meet, eat, and drink at Baihua Pavilion. But the Emperor doesnt turn up. Instead, he goes to see Concubine Mei at the Western Palace. Becoming very jealous, Yu-Huan drinks her sorrow down and then returns back to her palace in disappointment. Master Mei Lan-Fang has acted this important play The Concubine Gets Tipsy before. It becomes a classic of Beijing Opera, especially for female leading characters performance. To audience, it seems as if they stay in the garden surrounded by many flowers and feel very touched. This time, students of Beijing Opera Department from Theater Art College come to perform a version for young people. With their brilliant performance, it is believed to show their youth, vigour, and brilliance.
Focus嚗In the Beijing Opera, there are beautiful vocal pieces, complex performing skills, and generating of abundant emotions. With virtual reality and dance-style performance, the opera will convey a female leading characters elegant, delicate, and enchanting artistic imagery.
