In Yuan Dynasty, there is Princess Baihua who is the daughter of King Anxi. She is good at martial arts and also famous for her beauty. Those who try to invade her Baihua Palace will face a great danger possibly being killed. Ba-La is a chamberlain who is said to be very jealous of General Hai-Jun. One day, the former sets up a trap and gets the latter drunk. The latters body is put inside Baihua Palace. On seeing him, Princess Baihua cannot help herself but fall in love with him. Then, they are engaged after she gives him a sword as a love token. Beijing Opera The Princess Sends a Sword for Love Promise has always been known as a penetrating play in Xun School, especially suitable for a female leading character to demonstrate her skills. This time, students of Beijing Opera Department make a performance for young people. It is believed that they will demonstrate a new generations vigour and brilliance.
