2010 Joint Performance of Universitys Theatre Arts Department嚗Play Games

19嚗30 PM

There is a daughter getting older day by day. There is a mother having stopped growing since five years old. Both of them play in the open group and unceasingly change their various games. They eat, read newspapers, row with each other, and play. It seems that their getting along with each other makes the place like a harmonious home. They each demand the other to reveal a secret. The whole games continue for 130 years and stop when this daughter becomes an old lady. On the final night, they hug and sleep together.
Focus嚗This is a play exploring the problem of domestic violence. Through a series of games, patriarchic violence and death threats will be unfolded using an approach looking surreal but expressed in a very realistic way.
