52 Creative Art Weekends 2011嚗Nezha Conquers The Dragon King

At the age of 7, Nezha was in a drought, in scorching hot weather. When he was playing at the seaside, he met some shrimp soldiers and turtle generals patrolling the sea who seized a common girl, Ling-Zhi, to offer to the Dragon King. Nezha witnessed the injustice and lent a helping hand; he hurt the shrimp soldiers and turtle generals with his golden hoop and fire spear. The bullying third prince of the East Sea Palace, Ao-Bing, provoked Nezha, and after a fierce fight, the evil could not win over the good. Ao-Bing lost, and Nezha took his dragon thews and saved Ling-Zhi.
Focus嚗This Nezha Conquers the Dragon King is an opera highlight composed by the Clubs members, expressing this plot from the Gods of Honor in an unconventional way. The essence of singing, reciting, acting and martial arts techniques of the Taiwanese opera is comically presented. In addition, actors interact with the audience, teaching basic opera skills, working hard to promote and pass on the culture of Taiwanese opera.
