In 1988, a very small school on Yangming Mt. – Pindeng Elementary school initiated the first hand-puppet club for children in Taipei named “Chiao Wan Jan”. Moving toward to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the troupe, the children and their teachers have learned and performed in many countries around the world with a mix of joy and bitter experiences. Since the establishment of the association, the director Yueren Chen has been recording every step of its members learning and growing process with his camera. This gathering is a very precious opportunity for him to share his collections and experiences of inheriting traditional art with the public.
Focus：“Chiao Wan Jan”, the hand-puppet club for children with the longest history in Taiwan, will share their experiences of inheriting traditional art for the past 25 years, elaborating their touching moments of the most beautiful and bitter-sweet experiences.
