The National Taiwan University Kun Opera Club is one of the earliest groups that undertake this traditional art form. With enthusiasm and deep appreciation toward the beauty of classical art, the young students in NTU kept the club active for over half a century. This is the 55th year. This hard-earned achievement also shows our greatest praise and support for Kun Opera. With the annual performance, we wish to reach more audience and get them to appreciate the wonders of Kun Opera with us.
Focus：The performances include: “The Sea of Desire – Si Fan (The Devil in a Flowering Nun)” (selection), “The Joy of the Fishermen - Cang Zhou (The Disguise Hiding in a Boat)” (selection), “The Jade Hairpin – Qin Tiao (Flirting with the Zither)”, “The Palace of Eternity – Jiu Lou (The Frustrated General)” and “The Palace of Eternity – Xu Ge (A Lover’s Spat)”.
