The time was 1985. Lin Mei-Bao, Chen Zhong-Liang and Wang Hsin-Ren are childhood friends who have grown up together. Wang, who is bright and popular, has a crush on the intelligent Lin, while Lin prefers the taciturn Chen. Who does Chen like? The love triangle continues throughout their lives. Is it held by love, compassion or friendship? And what should they do as the reality hits? Take it or fight it? The sense of lost that no one else could feel, the intense longing and fear for a relationship, and the unshakable loneliness…as the three sink deeper into the tangle, is it really love, or just a fear of loneliness?
Focus：The plot for this story is taken from Yang Ya-Che’s novel, “Girlfriend, Boyfriend” and a readaptation of the movie version. The student movement in the 80s is reinterpreted with the contemporary teenagers in an attempt to rethink the connection between the different generations.
