Talking and singing are the foundation of traditional Chinese opera. The performance is brought by Professor Wang, You-Lan, the recipient of the Global Chinese Culture and Arts Awards, and the senior members of the workshop. It features the representative drum music in the talking and singing art - Jingyu Dagu (story-telling in Beijing dialect with drum accompaniment) and the favorite of Taiwan people back in the early days, “Huangmei Tone.”
