Since it was established, Taipei Kunju Opera Troupe has invited Kunju experts from China to organize various kinds of promotional and learning activities every year besides providing regular performances for the public. Those who have studied this tradition are now spread all over Taiwan. This time, the opera troupe concentrates on highlight shows. Highlights are the essence of kunju. Reviving the vigour of highlights, combining classical art with modern spirit, bringing singing and dancing kunju features, demonstrating general beauty on the stage to increase visual effect and adding interesting for librettos become special focuses in the performances.
