展覽為胡以誠近五年的水墨創作。對水墨而言，林木乃最為常見之題材，畫家既要對對傳統有所繼承，亦得突出個人的獨特關照；以深入的寫生為本，中西繪畫語彙的兼容與折衷，創造細膩而深致的林木景致。
The exhibition features Hu Yi-Cheng’s ink paintings created over the past five years. The motif of trees is among the most common subjects; the artist must both inherit elements of tradition and express a distinct personal perspective. Rooted in intensive sketching from nature, the artist harmonizes and reconciles the visual languages of Eastern and Western painting to create delicate and profound forest landscapes.
