花鳥畫最早出現於五代「寫生珍禽卷」，當時的宮廷畫家主要以御花園珍禽猛獸為觀察對象；如今拜林野之賜、攝影之便，觀察花鳥不再困難。
畫禽鳥，是一段隨順的因緣，早期臨摹花鳥，係透過書籍認識，進一步走進大自然觀看各類花鳥，其中包括：臺灣特有種、珍稀鳥類及過境鳥，它們就像一串串輕盈的音符，躍上作者心房，引發不斷創作的動力。
鳥類羽色之美，絕世之姿，是其他動物所難望其項背的，期以最真誠的心情，與諸位分享。
　
Flower-and-bird paintings at the first appeared Book of Painting Rare Birds during Five Dynasties. At that time, court birds and painters mainly focus on observing and painting rare birds and savage beasts kept in imperial gardens. Nowadays, thanks to easy access to forests and wild places and to photography, it no longer becomes difficult to observe flowers and birds.
For the painter of this exhibition, painting birds has become developed naturally. At the beginning of copying flowers and birds, she learned from books. Then further she came to be close to nature and observe all kinds of flowers and birds. The painted birds include special types, rare and precious, and migrant birds. They look like a string of graceful musical notes, delighting the painter’ heart and inspiring her drive of continual creativity.
