為提倡傳統繪畫藝術，深耕兒童對我國水墨畫的體認，以及培養兒童其水墨寫生之興趣，特舉辦本活動。2011年水墨寫生地點是為中正紀念堂內，國家戲劇院旁水池周圍，從百餘位參賽作品中，評選出優秀作品，歡迎各界蒞臨參觀。
聚焦賞析：從藝術創作中，悠遊生活美感；藉由兒童的觀點，以水墨彩筆畫出綠意盎然，氣韻生動的自然之美，
　
The exhibition is held to promote traditional paintings, allow children to gain a better understanding for the traditional ink paintings and cultivate their interests in ink paintings. The location of 2011 Taiwan Children’s Ink Painting Exhibition is inside the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, by the pond of national theater. The judges will select wining paintings from paintings by over a 100 contestants. Everyone is welcome to the activity.
Focus：From the process of creating a painting, one can experience the aesthetics in life; from the eyes of children, aliveness is shown through ink paintings and the aliveness of nature is thus exhibited.
