粉彩畫由於材質不斷的研發創新，使得色彩更加鮮豔，顏色更為多樣化，讓美術家更有自由運用創作的空間。國人對粉彩畫較為生疏，本展覽有機會讓社會大眾認識粉彩，藉由欣賞進而肯定粉彩畫的藝術價值。
聚焦賞析：邀請臺、美、日、法、義、加拿大、比利時等12國之粉彩畫家，展出最新作品77幅，供國內美術界觀摩及交流。
　
With continuing innovation in the materials used for pastel, the colors are becoming more vivid and diverse, allowing the artists more freedom in their creation. Pastel paintings are less known in Taiwan. This exhibition will give the public the opportunity to get to know pastel, appreciate pastel paintings, and recognize their artistic value.
Focus：Pastel painters from 12 countries including Taiwan, the United States, Japan, Italy, Canada and Belgium are invited to exhibit 77 of their latest works for Taiwanese artists and audience.
