中韓文化交流源遠流長，檢諸史乘可直溯隋唐以前。彼此陶染之際，美術發展同時互顯共榮，形成東亞文明中波瀾壯闊的藝術長河。韓國美術發展從雖曾吸收宋朝李郭畫派與明朝浙派、吳派及清朝揚州畫派等之形式技法，卻能另闢新境，開創風格鮮明的韓國畫風，深值國內畫界觀摩學習。※註：「史乘」意為史書。
聚焦賞析：中韓美術交流展邁入第25年，目的係透過展覽和互訪活動，彼此學習觀摩，藉以擴大創作領域，提升國內民眾及學子的欣賞及創作視野。
　
“Taiwan-Korea art exchange can be traced back to as early as before the Sui and Tang Dynasties according to history books. While influencing each other, we shared achievements in art development and together formed a magnificent river of art in East-Asian civilization. The development of Korean art though it incorporated the art skills of the Li-Guo School of the Sung Dynasty the Zhe and Wu Schools of the Ming Dynasty and Yang-zhou school of the Qing Dynasty, was able to create a unique style that exhibits distinct features of Korean painting and is definitely worthy of people in the painting circle in Taiwan to appreciate and learn from.
Focus：This year marks the 25th year of the Taiwan-Korea Art Exchange Exhibition. Its purpose is to allow people of both nations to learn from each other via exhibitions and visits in order to expand the form and boundary of art making for both sides as well as improving their abilities to appreciate art and broadening their horizons.
