水墨繪畫在各大專院校美術系所多年的推動下，不僅創作成果豐碩，且各具面貌。為發揚傳統優質文化，提升國內水墨學習風氣，展現國內各大學藝術系所水墨畫教學成果，特舉辦水墨觀摩展暨座談討論會，期使各校學子與社會大眾在眾美紛呈的作品中，相互學習觀摩，達到優化藝術教育與提升水墨繪畫之目的。

Chinese ink and wash paintings, thanks to the never-resting promotion by arts colleges throughout Taiwan, have finally started to show fruitful results in their many aspects. In order to spread such a great culture, create an atmosphere for learning and achieve better results, this exhibition and a seminar are held to offer an opportunity for both students and the public to learn about and observe great Chinese ink and wash paintings.
