為提倡固有傳統繪畫藝術，培養兒童對傳统水墨畫的興趣及體認，播下國畫水墨繪畫種子，自2008年起，由中華現代國畫研究學會，福臨文化藝術基金會，國立臺灣藝術教育館，共同舉辦台灣兒童水墨寫生比賽活動，已邁入第8屆，期能達到兒童教育「五育並重，藝術生活化」之宗旨。
聚焦賞析：本比賽採現場寫生模式，激發兒童創作能力，啟發美感空間與素養，並體驗傳統國畫水墨精髓，傳承民族藝術。
In order to promote the art of native traditional painting, and encourage our children to take an interest in and get to know traditional Chinese ink paintings, the Contemporary Chinese Painting Association, Fu-Li Cultural and Art Foundation, and National Taiwan Arts Education Centre have co-organized Children’s Ink Painting Competition in Taiwan annually since 2008 in the hope to achieve the goal of “Laying Equal Importance to the Five Disciplines while Making Art A Part of Daily Life” for children’s education.
Focus：The competition requires the child participants to create a painting at the scene in the hope of inspiring their creativity, aesthetic sense of space and artistic cultivation. Furthermore, it provides them a chance to experience the essence of Chinese ink painting and to inherit such folk art.
