教育部自94年起，每年選送當年最優秀的藝術與設計學生到海外公費研習一年。今年返國的學員將於「國立臺灣藝術教育館」將他們精采的成果展現給社會大眾。這群遠赴世界9大先進國、共17所知名機構及公司的研習的藝術與設計菁英，藉由他們這一年在海外創作的作品，分享給國內最新的跨文化設計成果。
開幕訂為11月10日上午11點，這是本計畫首度擴大對外公開展覽。展示內容分為數位媒體組、視覺傳達設計組、產品設計組共三組，20位菁英的優秀的作品。其中有國際知名競賽得獎或跨國實務設計創作。內容呈現國際最新設計思潮與跨文化設計思潮。歡迎社會大眾或教育機構來館參觀。現場並有展示該特展的成果實錄，觀展民眾可於現場翻閱，並於指定書局購買。
The Ministry of Education has being providing scholarship to outstanding students of art and design majors to study overseas since 2005. This year, the returned students will display the fruitful results of their study in “National Taiwan Arts Education Center”. These art and design elites who studied in 17 prominent organizations and companies in 9 advanced nations will share their latest achievements for cross-cultural designs with people in Taiwan via art pieces they created abroad.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at 11:00 A.M. on November, 10th. This is the very first exhibition of this program. The exhibited contents are divided into digital medial category, visual communication design category and product design category; all are great art pieces created by 20 elite students. Among them are winners of well-known international competitions and people who practiced design in cross-national organizations. The contents of the exhibition display the latest international trends and ideas for cross-cultural design. Both the public and people from educational institutes are welcome. At the exhibition, a book that records the highlights of this exhibition is displayed for visitors to browse. This book is also available for sale at designated bookstores.
