蘭陽地區是個好山好水的地方，名山勝地引人入勝。諸如東北角沿岸、蘭陽溪出海口、山川、鄉野、田間、野鳥、景觀等，處處都蘊藏著詩的意境，故常吸引各地畫家的造訪。由於兩位作者在宜蘭從事美術教育近三十餘年，退休後仍以輕鬆心情，邀約同好，踏進原野倘佯大自然，補捉它的美感，純真地彩繪於畫作上。
他們的作品力求『真』的定義，更對『美』作一番詮釋，不拘泥於任何畫材及用具，喜好運用新的方法。
此次展出的畫作除了表達他們熱愛家鄉——蘭陽人文風情外，更願與諸位分享，歡迎各位前來觀賞。
The Lan-Yang Region is a wonderful place with nice hills and waters, which lead one into wonderland. Everywhere, such as the coast of Northeast Corner, the sea opening of Lan-Yang River, mountains and rivers, villages, the field, wild birds, landscape, etc., contains a quality suggestive of poetry and attract many visitors from other parts to visit. Because both of authors have engaged in art education in Yi-Lan for more than thirty years, after retiring, they are still in relax mood to invite lovers to go into the wild field for wandering in the nature, to catch its beauty and simply to paint on the paintings.
On their works, the definition of "reality" has been pursued, and "beauty" is also given an explanation, with unconfined painting materials and tools, as well as with new methods.
The paintings for this exhibition, in addition to expressing their favourite homeland – human amorous feelings of Lan-Yang, are also expected to share with everyone who comes to appreciate them.
