本館年度主題展之「福爾摩沙」展區，結合互動多媒體與當代藝術遊戲裝置等，藉由6位臺灣新銳藝術家接力創作而展現新世代之美學力量，諸如綠點子的多媒體的互動裝置作品《植物叢林》、李文政的當代藝術遊戲裝置《賺大錢》、知名設計師劉經瑋的《包包流浪記》等。
本次展出藝術家方志偉《心記》系列作品，藝術家專研水墨走獸，以「獼猴」為研究主題，作品主要從觀察動物行為模式延伸至對家人、家族間的情感體悟。此次作品，有許多畫作以金箔與彩度做出不同的嘗試，以色代墨、以墨輔色，融入嶺南畫派的「撞粉」技法，使作品蘊含「畜」與「獸」的靈氣，展現出藝術家對生活周遭事物情感體悟。
The “Formosa” area of our annual themed exhibition is an exhibition of artworks that combined interactive media, contemporary art incorporated with game installation and art pieces by 6 Taiwanese rising artists, such as “The Plant Jungle” – a green multi-media interactive installation, “Making Big Money” – a contemporary artwork incorporated with game installation by Li Wen-Zheng and “The Drifting Journey of Bags” by the famous designer Liu Jing-Wei.
The exhibition will display ink paintings from “the Heart Series” by artist Fang Zhi-Wei. The artist specializes in animal-themed ink paintings. Using “macaques” as the subject of his research, the artist expresses his feelings for families by observing animal behavior. Many of the exhibited paintings are created with gold foils and colors. Colors are used instead of ink and ink is used as a secondary color. The “adding power” technique of Lingnan School of painting is applied so that paintings of this series display the spirits of “animals” and “beasts” while demonstrating the artist’s feelings for things around his daily life.
