九歌畫會是由李丞鏞老師所籌組指導的一個現代水墨畫會，其中不乏熱愛水墨的青年藝術愛好者，有來自於國立台灣藝術大學、台北藝術大學、國立台南大學等。
此群藝術青年們，平時著墨於水墨畫領域的研習及創作，並曾在國際美展及全國性美展榮獲金、銀、銅獎及前三名之榮譽。
然競賽只是過程，並不是創作者目的，他們在水墨畫的工筆、寫意、花鳥、山水等不同題材表達了對自然萬物的觀察心象訴求。
李丞鏞老師以期盼的心情，渴望他們能藉此展覽交流，九歌畫會的年輕藝術家們，對自我有所成長，並期待各界同好不吝給予批評指教。
Jiu-Ge Painting Council is a modern Chinese Painting Group founded and led by teacher Li Cheng-Yong, in which there are many young art lovers to Chinese Painting, most of whom are from National Taiwan Arts University, Taipei Arts University and National Tainan University.
This group of youth ordinarily make efforts on the study and creation for Chinese Painting field and have the honour to get golden, silver, copper awards and the first three grades in the international arts exhibition and national arts ones.
However, the contests are only a king of process, not the main purpose of creators'. The diverse subject matters such as brushwork, freehand type, painting of flowers and birds, scenery with hills and waters produced by them express image appeal to all natural things observed by themselves.
Teacher Li Cheng-Yong expects them able to communicate with each other through the exhibition, hopes the young artists in Jiu-Ge Painting Council to become mature and attempts all the circles to give them true comments and advices.
