本活動由教育部主辦，國立臺東女中承辦。活動參與對象為全國公私立高中美術班學生，展出作品主題為關於海洋環境保護，有海洋廢棄物做成的大型裝置藝術作品與版畫作品。創作材料為臺東海邊淨灘的海洋廢棄物，民眾可以觀賞到，由我們人類遺留的垃圾是如何組成一幅幅的藝術作品。
聚焦賞析：透過東海岸夏令營體驗與藝術實作課程，跨校培育美術菁英學生。以在地文化課程體驗，導引熱愛海洋情操與增進探索海洋知識的興趣。培養學生體驗人文、鄉土情感，藉以提升藝術創作品質。
The event is organized by the Ministry of Education and implemented by National Taitung Girls’ Senior High School. It is open to the students who attend either public or private art class in senior high schools in Taiwan. The topic is about ocean protection, which involves large installation artworks and printmaking made from ocean waste.
Focus：Through experiencing hands-on art courses provided by the East Coast Summer Camp. By means of experiencing the courses about local culture, students are guided to love the ocean and increase their interest in ocean knowledge.
