由日本美育學會舉辦之世界兒童畫展，每年均將優秀作品巡迴世界各國展出，針對此一國際性展出，我國方面則是由中華民國兒童美術教育學會主辦，並負責徵選國內優秀作品參展，在本次全體參展國家中，我國是獲獎最多的國家。
人生中情意與美的感動是無從教起的，只能體會浸潤其中，心靈方能萌生真心摯情的感觸。繪畫是兒童一個親身體會的好途徑，在彩筆揮灑的過程裡，可以激發孩童的好奇心，將生活中所聽、所見、所感的人事物一一融入作品之中，當小朋友選定畫紙的開始，他（她）已一步步探索著自己小小天地理，所有自然景象與生命的樂趣，因而表現於畫作上的就是兒童用心體會的自然之美，歡迎大家一同走進兒童畫的內心世界。

Every year, Japan's aesthetic education society selects the best pieces of artwork and organizes the children's painting exhibitions touring all over the world. Directly aiming at the international exhibition, Taiwan also likes to take part. In Taiwan, the Association for Education through Art Republic of China is in charge of organization and of selecting our best works to participate this exhibition. Among participant countries, Taiwan is the country winning the most awards.
Emotions and beauty in life cannot be taught. People can only depend on immersing themselves in art and developing understanding and enlightenment of the mind on their own. Painting is an ideal approach for children to experience enlightenment of the mind. In the process of using colouring pens and brushes, children's curiosity can be excited. They can bring what they hear, see and feel into artwork. When starting to choose paper and colours, they have explored their inner world step by step. All nature's scenes and life's joys are transferred to one painting after another. This process is children's devotion to the beauty of nature.
