作者林錦鈺的油畫與陶畫創作作品，大體來說是屬於後現代的新具象，由於她醉心於畢卡索，故所創作出來的陶畫也亦如畢卡索般的揮灑情懷。繪畫與陶藝的交集使得作者把藝術創作的媒材走入更多樣性。
在作者的陶板畫中，有件作品<沉思>是表現她女兒的畫像，她將其身材拉長變形，並佔據整個畫面，其用色方面則以藍黑色為主調，整件作品可說是典雅中充滿了現代感。
作者此次展出的畫作，多為歐美旅遊時所留下的足跡，但她的藝術表現並不是描繪具象的寫實，而是將具象的形，轉化為線條的形，再加上內心的感覺，就成了藝術創作的靈魂，如此一來，新的形體光輝便放射出來了，所以作者的作品可稱的上是新具象藝術。期待藉由這次展出，能夠與更多喜愛藝術創作的朋友一同交流。

The artist Jien-yun Lin's oil paintings and ceramics paintings are generally speaking post-modern new figurative work. Owing to her love of Picasso, what she creates is rather similar to this twenty-century art giant's brushwork. Combining paintings with ceramic art lets her art media have more varieties.
Among her ceramics paintings, one is called Meditation, representing likeness of her own daughter. The artist lengthens her figure and let it dominate the whole picture. She also uses blue and black as the main tone. The whole work can be said to be elegance filled up with modernity.
In this exhibition, her paintings were made during her travel in Europe and America. Her art representation is not related to concrete reality, but to the transformation from figurativeness into lines, accompanies with internal feelings – which become soul of art creation. Such an arrangement brings out brilliance of the novelty. Therefore, the artist's work can be called new figurative art. It is expected to communicate with art lovers and creators more through this exhibition.
