親民技術學院視覺傳達設計系近年積極推展產學合作，並關懷地方產業的深層紮根，在傳統產業的轉型上，亦用心扮演推手的角色。在重塑地方文化產業新風貌的同時，不僅視覺經驗得以更新，在聚焦於表象之後，得以反思細緻幽微的內心。
本次展出作品件件充滿不一樣的驚奇，其中「菓子糖」用記憶中甜蜜蜜的糖果滋味，喚起大家的童心，邊吃糖邊了解糖果文化；「山城細妹」專注於研究並包裝苗栗十八鄉鎮的伴手禮；「董坐石硯」則是協助彰化二水已有八十年歷史的藝術館，用實用與美感兼具的方式包裝文房四寶並建立企業識別系統；「耕野月眉」則是為地方特色餐廳設計形象海報、名片、旗幟與禮盒包裝等；「峨嵋鄉觀光產業」將地方名產：東方美人茶、柿餅、調味醋、桶柑重新包裝，賦予農產品不同的身價，吸引遊客蒞臨山城，歡迎大家一同前來觀賞。
Department of Visual Communication Design. Chin Min Institute of Technology has in recent year actively promoted collaboration between industry and schools at the same time while cared for roots in depth of local industries as well as played a role to heartily drive a conversion of conventional industries. As they reform local cultural industry with new appearance, not only vision experience has been allowed to be updated but also to introspect of delicate and tranquil inner following a focus on appearance.
Every piece of works during this exhibit would be full of different amazement. Among of those, "Fruit Candies" would remind everyone, by tasting candies as knowing candy culture, of their utter innocence with their memory of sweet taste from candies；"Girls in mountain town" would concentrate in studying and packing of gifts from 18 towns in Maioli；"Inkstone" then would assist Art House which has stood in Erhshui City Government, Changhua for 80 years by way of a new design for four elements of Chinese ancient writing tool in manner of both being practical and beauty as well as by way of a new creation of Corporation Identification System；"Farming and Moon" would design for local stylish restaurants, including image post, business card, flags and package of gifts etc.；"Emi Township's Tourism Industry" would re-design popular specialty giving different values on farm products: oriental beauty tea, dry persimmon, flavored vinegar and tangerine to aim at drawing tourist coming to this town in the mountain.
