進入二十世紀以來，平面設計已廣泛運用在社會各個層面，並扮演重要角色，為讓民眾能夠了解設計獨特之視覺語言，本館特邀請中華民國美術設計協會辦理「台灣造形創作展」。
本次展出內容以「愛台灣、台灣加油、形象加值」等創新理念及以塑造台灣新的圖像造形為主要內容，就不同的設計表現勾勒出各種象徵台灣科技發展、文化特點、城市印象等作品，所有參展者均為該會會員及台灣設計界朋友共四十八位，作品精采可期，誠摯邀請各界同好前來觀賞。
After entering the 20th century, plane design has been applied extensively on every aspect of our society and plays an important role. In order to allow people to understand the unique visual language of design, this Center specially invites The Graphic Design Association of the Republic of China to conduct the “Taiwan Plastic Creation Show”.
The main contents of this show are such creative idea as “Love Taiwan, Go Taiwan and Value-added Image” to shape the new image of Taiwan. These works, in terms of different design and performance, describe various technology development, cultural characteristics and the image of city, all of which symbolize Taiwan. All attendants of this show are members of the Association and belong to Taiwan’s design circle, a total of 48 persons. Their works are expected splendid; you are sincerely invited to appreciate the show.
