沈長祿先生，福建金門人。金門文風鼎盛，人文薈萃，自幼受此薰陶，已略知筆墨；少年時代更於老師家藏之中，博覽諸名家碑籍，故對於行筆運墨之間有更深層的體悟，也為爾後創作之本源。
開始習書是以顏楷入手，復尋歐、柳諸家，楷法既得，轉諸行草，觀者可從作品中看出作者無論在點頓提案之間，均灑脫自若，收放得宜，一脫塵俗之氣，足見其用功之深，歡迎各界前來蒞臨指教。
In the beginning, Mr. Shen Chang-Lu studied the calligraphy of Yen Zen-Qing’s regular script, then Ou Yan Xiu and Liu Gong-Quan etc; after learning the regular script, he transferred to learn the running script and cursive style. The viewers could see the writer’s free, easy, and self-possessed feeling properly in every calligraphic style from his work with unworldly expression that could know his great diligent in learning. After 40 years old, he learned seal cutting and studied seal character and Li script that he has another realization on the perfection and simplicity of seal characters, as well as virtual and true reflection. All circles are welcomed to give advices.
