畫家陳文龍，來自農村，而南台灣是他的第二故鄉，因此，漁村、港口、大船、小船、廟宇、古厝、荷塘、蕉園，一直都是他創作揮灑的題材。不為鄉土而鄉土，只為沉醉於馥郁的泥土香。
近年來，他喜愛用寬廣塊面筆觸作畫，力求簡潔、爽快，單純的色塊，自然留白，充分享受揮灑寫意樂趣。尤其留白是他的生活哲學，希望在水彩作品中，反應他的人生看法，在創作領域上走出自己的路，歡迎各界同好前來觀賞。
Painter Chen Wen-Lung come from countryside, southern Taiwan is his 2nd hometown, therefore, fishing village, port, big ship, boat, temple, ancient house, pond and banana garden are always the subject matters of his creation. Not for the hometown, he just fascinates with the strong fragrance of earth. In recent years, he was fond of using extensive piece and surface in painting, striving for pithy, clear-out and simple color piece with naturally blank left to sufficiently enjoy the freehand brushwork. Particularly, leaving blank is his life philosophy, he is hoping to reflect his viewpoints on life in watercolor works and creates a self-style in the creation field.
