作者林先生此次個展是從探討「墨色」的幽玄哲理來思考，水墨畫是東方主流美感之一，除了歷代古人多所論述「墨分五色」外，他更嚐試將水的張力變化加入暈染與濃淡肌理調子效果，也自由性隨機的結合實物拓印影跡、皴擦筆法、墨韻的漬痕等，概念的發想作為造型構成，虛實視窗彰顯主題圖像，尋找新形式空間，更進一步挑戰水墨表現的趣味意義，超越傳統的畫題與視覺，本展預計展出40件作品，作品精采可期。
Through this individual exhibition, Mr. Lin, the author, mused from discussion of mysterious and distant philosophy of "colour of Chinese black ink". Calligraphic painting is one of major expression for beauty of the Orient. In addition to "spectrum among Chinese black ink" discussed more by forerunners since several dynasties, he even tried to add the variety of water tension into the effects of dying of, and the texture and tune of colour intensity. More than that, he also freely combined such as silhouette printing by rubbing of solid object, chapping and scrubbing as the calligraphic technique, or stain and trace from ink rhyme etc at random to form stylish figuration from conceptual idea, to outstand theme graphs by virtual and real windows and to explore new forms of space; he furthermore confront the funny implication expressed by calligraphy and got beyond the traditional painting topic and visual effect. 40 pieces are planned to be under eyes of public for this exhibition. The works are outstanding and deserve your expectation.
