國立臺灣藝術教育館與台日美術家聯誼會為促進國際交流，提昇繪畫藝術並促進雙方友誼，特於國立臺灣藝術教育館南海藝廊舉辦「台日美術家聯展」。
台日美術家聯誼會創立至今，已邁入第三十二個年頭，期間雙方常派遣會員互訪或作寫生旅行，並就地舉辦欣賞會、討論會等以相互切磋琢磨，藉以提升畫藝、增進友誼，可說是國內少數每年與日本「全日本美術協會」舉辦國際交流展出之美術團體。此次之展覽，可以看到全日本美術協會部分重要作家之作品，亦可欣賞到國內傑出中堅畫家作品。此展屬國際性之畫展，為加強推展美術教育並讓民眾有更深一層的認識，本館特別安排3場導賞及3場示範教學，以配合展出之效果。
本展共約有五十餘件作品，歡迎社會各界愛好藝術的朋友，呼朋引伴前來觀賞與批評指教。
In order to facilitate international intercourse and promote the painting arts as well as for mutual friendship, National Taiwan Arts Education Center and Taiwan-Japan Fine Artists Association hold the "Taiwan-Japan Fine Artists Associated Exhibition" at Nanhai Arts Gallery of National Taiwan Arts Education Center.
Taiwan-Japan Fine Arts Association has 32-year history since it was founded, both parties usually send members to visit each other or conduct sketch traveling, moreover, hold appreciation exhibitions and seminars for learning from each other in order to promote painting skill and increase friendship. It can be said a rare local fine arts association which holds international intercourse exhibition with Japan's Whole Japan Fine Arts Association every year. In this exhibition, we could see the works made by part important painters of the Whole Japan Fine Arts Association, in addition to the works made by Taiwan's excellent and important painters. This exhibition belongs to an international paintings exhibition; in order to strengthen the promotion of fine arts education and allow people to have deeper knowledge, this Center specially arranges three numbers of guide appreciation and three numbers of demonstration teaching for matching up the effect of exhibition.
There are about over fifty works in this exhibition, all friends who are fond of arts are welcomed to visit and give criticisms.
