當代名家聯展匯聚了現今書畫界知名大師的作品，透過傳統與現代之融合展現新貌，其間亦有備受前輩肯定的新生代畫家新作，一併展出，表達了藝術的傳承。
這次參展的名家，多數為中國美術協會會員，美協是國內歷史最悠久且規模最大的人民藝術團體，創立之初，即由黃賓虹、張大千等當時美術界碩彥樹立了正確的發展目標，廣泛推行美術教育於全國，結合全國美術界力量致力於藝術發展，經歷屆理事長：馬壽華、李梅樹、徐谷庵、張俊傑等大師帶領及現任理事長胡念祖教授不斷的推展。傳承與突破、培育及教育，讓藝術與生活結合，普及大眾，讓各類藝術創作者齊心協力共展成果，期待各界同好前來參觀。
The Present-Age Masters' Union Exhibition gathers the works done by present famous masters in painting and calligraphy circle. Through integration of tradition and modern, this exhibition displays new features, in which there are new works by new painters who are extremely recognized by senior painters, to express the transmission of art.

The masters joined this exhibition most are the members of China Fine Art Association, which is the long-standing and the largest private art group in Taiwan. At the beginning of establishment, many great masters as Huang Pin-Hung and Chang Ta-Chien built the correct development goal, namely extensively carry out the art education in Taiwan and combine the strength of national art circle that is led by many masters and former chairmen as Ma Shou-Hua, Lee Mei-Shu, Hsu Ku-An and Chang Chun-Chieh, and current chairman professor Hu Nien-Tsu's continuous development. Its transmission and breakthrough, training and education allow art to combine with life and available to the public and allow various art creators to present their works who are looking forward to viewers' criticism and affirmation.
