台陽美術協會以歷屆參展表現出色優異的作者，為招收對象。初期為預備會員，參與各種活動與展出，不斷精進畫作，作為日後被選為正式會員的基礎。這次展出除了美術教育的推廣之外，另一方面將台陽的新會員介紹給社會大眾，以多給年輕人表現的機會。展出共五十幅油畫與膠彩作品，全是年青一輩的會員與預備會員的精心勁作。
The people to be selected as reserve members of Taiyang Art Research Association are the distinguished painters having taken part in the successive previous terms exhibitions. Before becoming regular members, they have to make much progress in painting and take part in exhibitions and activities as many times as possible. All of these works are painted by those who are young and the reserve members.
